In short

A collection does not go in the hold. We carry runway pieces, showroom samples and boutique restocks in a dedicated vehicle with a hanging rail, between Parisian ateliers and Milan, London, Geneva, Brussels or Amsterdam — delivered at the exact fitting time, 24/7 during Fashion Weeks.

Why a dedicated vehicle for this type of goods

The fashion calendar tolerates no delay: a look that arrives after the fitting does not walk. Between Paris, Milan, London and New York, collections travel back and forth over a few weeks, with one-off pieces that cannot be insured by weight and cannot be replaced.

Our long-distance fashion transport assigns a vehicle to your pieces alone: garment bags, trunks, showroom boxes and accessories travel flat or hanging, without compression or folding. One driver from start to finish, no warehouse, no handling by a third party. We serve the ateliers of the Sentier and the Marais, the houses of avenue Montaigne and rue Saint-Honoré, and the major European events.

The situations we handle most often

Every job starts from a different emergency. These are the cases that come up most in this field.

Runway pieces to Milan or London

Evening departure, arrival at the studio for the morning fitting, garment bags hanging, protections never opened.

Urgent boutique restock

A missing size for a VIP client: direct delivery between the Paris boutique and a store in the regions or in Europe.

Atelier returns and alterations

Shuttle between the house and the embroidery, feather or leather atelier, then return of the finished piece before the presentation.

Shoots and image production

Looks taken to the shoot location (château, beach, studio), waiting on site then return of the pieces the same evening.

Trade shows and seasonal showrooms

Delivery of the full collection for the showroom opening, with collection at the end of the session.

One-off pieces and archives

Discreet transport of house archives, museum pieces or client orders, with no external marking on the vehicle.

Frequently asked questions — Fashion & couture

Answers to the questions our clients ask before entrusting us with a job.

What is dedicated-vehicle collection transport?
It is moving fashion pieces — runway looks, showroom samples, boutique restocks — in a vehicle assigned to them alone and fitted with a hanging rail. Garment bags stay suspended from start to finish, without creases or compression, and no third party handles the pieces. It is the chosen solution when a garment is unique, irreplaceable and expected at a precise time.
Do you carry garments on hangers?
Yes. The Mercedes V-Class van is fitted for hanging transport: garment bags stay suspended over the whole distance, without creases or marks. Bulky pieces (trained gowns, structures) travel flat on a folded-down bench.
How long from Paris to Milan for a collection?
About 9 h 40 door to door, so a 21:00 departure for delivery at the Milan studio around 07:00. The journey is done in one run, with no logistics stop and no change of vehicle.
Is the vehicle unmarked?
The vehicle carries no mention of the contents or of your house. For sensitive pieces we adapt the loading point (private car park, inner courtyard, dock) to avoid any handling on the public road.
Can you wait on site during a shoot or a show?
Yes. The driver stays available during the event and leaves with the pieces at the end. Waiting is charged at the prefecture hourly rate, confirmed when the quote is agreed.
Do you insure high-value pieces?
Transport is covered by our professional insurance. For a collection whose declared value runs into tens of thousands of euros, an ad valorem extension is taken out through your broker or ours: state the value when requesting the quote.
Do you operate during Fashion Weeks, including weekends?
Yes, 24/7, including Sundays and bank holidays. We recommend booking Fashion Week slots in advance, as demand is concentrated on a few days.
Do you handle customs formalities for London or Geneva?
The United Kingdom and Switzerland are outside the EU: your pieces must travel with an ATA carnet or a pro forma invoice prepared by your export team. We present the file at the Eurotunnel terminal or the border post and confirm the crossing.
What does a Paris–Milan or Paris–London fashion transport cost?
On the taxi kilometre rate of €2.63/km, expect roughly €2,236 for Milan and €1,163 for London one way from Île-de-France, excluding customs formalities and the crossing. The calculator shows the estimate for your exact route.
Do you also carry accessories, shoes and show jewellery?
Yes, on the same job: shoe boxes, accessory trunks, costume or fine jewellery cases. For high jewellery pieces, see our dedicated jewellery and watchmaking service.
Can a return trip be done the same day?
Up to about 400 km, yes: delivery in the morning, pieces back in the evening. Beyond that, the return is planned over two days or with a driver relay; the calculator lets you simulate the return option.
What if nobody can receive it on arrival?
The driver calls you before arriving. Depending on your instruction, they wait on site at the prefecture hourly rate, hand the goods to a person you designate, leave them at a secure reception or return with them. Nothing is ever left without your approval, and the return trip is only invoiced if it takes place.
Do you also run the route the other way?
Yes, all our routes are operated in both directions at the same kilometre rate. We collect in the French regions or in Europe and deliver in Île-de-France, in particular to the Roissy CDG cargo areas, La Défense and Paris head offices. Just give us the collection address: only the distance actually driven counts.

What a taxi carries — and what it does not

We are a prefecture-licensed taxi service, not a freight company. Saying so plainly saves you a pointless call, and saves us accepting a job we could not honour.

✅ What we take

  • Documents, original deeds, data media
  • Parcels and cases that can be handled without lifting equipment
  • Flight cases, trunks, garment bags on hangers, jewellery boxes
  • Suitcases and luggage — up to six to eight pieces
  • Sealed insulated boxes supplied by the sender
  • Parts and cartons up to about 1.80 m long

❌ What belongs with a carrier

  • Full pallets and shrink-wrapped goods
  • Machines, engines, bulky furniture
  • Anything requiring a tail lift, pallet truck or forklift
  • Dangerous goods falling under ADR
  • House moves, even partial ones
  • Shipments requiring a goods transport licence

If your need falls outside this scope we tell you on the first call and point you to a suitable carrier. A taxi that costs you half a day is not doing you a favour.

An urgent delivery to arrange right now?

One call is enough to start the job. We drive 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, anywhere in France and Europe — no transfer of goods, no sorting hub, no deposit.
