Long-distance AOG aircraft parts delivery

An AOG is settled in hours, not days. We collect the part from a store, a supplier or the Roissy CDG cargo area and drive it straight to the aircraft — Toulouse-Blagnac, Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Geneva, Frankfurt or Brussels — in a single vehicle, with no transhipment, 24 hours a day.

In short

An AOG is settled in hours, not days. We collect the part from a store, a supplier or the Roissy CDG cargo area and drive it straight to the aircraft — Toulouse-Blagnac, Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Geneva, Frankfurt or Brussels — in a single vehicle, with no transhipment, 24 hours a day.

Why a dedicated vehicle for this type of goods

When an aircraft is grounded, every hour of downtime costs the airline thousands of euros. Classic air freight imposes cut-offs, flight slots and transfers of goods in warehouses: on a European route of 400 to 900 km, the road in a dedicated vehicle is often faster than the plane, because it leaves immediately and never stops.

Our long-distance AOG delivery service assigns one driver and one vehicle to your job alone. The part stays in the boot from departure to arrival: no hub, no sorting, no intermediate scan, no risk of loss. We drive at night, on Sundays and on bank holidays, with a driver relay beyond 700 km so the journey is never interrupted.

The situations we handle most often

Every job starts from a different emergency. These are the cases that come up most in this field.

Part stuck in Roissy cargo

Collection in the CDG cargo area (Sogaris, WFS, Swissport) then a direct run to the airport where the aircraft is grounded, including at night.

Business jet on the ground

Le Bourget, Cannes-Mandelieu, Geneva, Nice: delivery at the aircraft or to the MRO workshop, coordinated with the handler.

Rotation between industrial sites

Urgent shuttles between factories and design offices: Toulouse, Nantes, Hamburg, Seville — parts, jigs, specific tooling.

Return of a part under repair

Outbound run to the approved repair shop then return of the certified part, with photo traceability at each step.

Technical documents and EASA Form 1

Transport of the paperwork accompanying the part: airworthiness certificate, release note, conformity file.

Consumables and AOG kits

Seals, sensors, computers, seats, cabin items: anything that fits in a Mercedes V-Class van (up to 2 m long).

Frequently asked questions — Aviation AOG

Answers to the questions our clients ask before entrusting us with a job.

What is AOG transport?
AOG stands for Aircraft on Ground: an aircraft immobilised for want of a part. AOG transport is the emergency delivery of that part, in a dedicated vehicle, from the store or cargo area to the aircraft itself. It is counted in hours, not days, because an hour of downtime costs an airline thousands of euros. We drive 24/7 to every airport in France and Europe.
How long does it take to deliver an AOG part from Paris to Toulouse?
About 7 h 30 of driving from Roissy CDG or Île-de-France, so delivery at the aircraft in under 9 hours including collection. The vehicle leaves within 60 minutes of approval and drives at night if required, with no logistics stops.
Is it faster than air freight for a European AOG?
Over 300 to 900 km, yes in most cases. Air freight requires an acceptance cut-off, apron time, customs clearance and onward carriage: 12 to 24 h door to door. A dedicated vehicle leaves immediately and delivers in one run.
Do you deliver airside or landside?
We deliver to the point you specify: MRO store, hangar, handler desk, guard post or cargo area. Airside access depends on airport passes; most often the handler or your technician takes the part in a secure public area.
What size of part can you carry?
We are a taxi service: we carry what fits in a passenger vehicle. A Mercedes V-Class van takes parcels up to about 1.80 m long that one person can handle — typically a standard aviation transport case. Beyond that (cowling, engine cover, landing gear) it is freight, and we will point you to a specialist carrier.
Do you operate at night, on Sundays and bank holidays?
Yes, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A large share of AOG jobs start between 22:00 and 06:00, precisely because the aircraft must be back in service for the morning rotation.
How does the border crossing to Switzerland or the UK work?
For Switzerland and the United Kingdom the part must travel with its customs paperwork (pro forma invoice, EASA Form 1, ATA carnet where applicable). We present the file supplied by the sender at the border post or Eurotunnel terminal and keep you informed.
What does an AOG transport from Roissy to Lyon or Toulouse cost?
The price follows the official taxi kilometre rate of €2.63/km, so roughly €1,227 for Lyon and €1,841 for Toulouse one way from Île-de-France. Use the calculator for an instant estimate on your exact route.
Do you also run the other way, from the regions to Paris?
Yes. We collect in the French regions and in Europe towards Île-de-France, in particular to the Roissy CDG cargo areas and the Paris-Le Bourget workshops. The price is based on the distance actually driven.
Can I track the job in real time?
You get the driver's direct number, their GPS position on request at any time, then a time-stamped, geolocated photo of the handover. No call centre in between: you speak to the person driving your part.
Do you accept regulated aviation goods?
We carry standard parts, avionics and unclassified consumables. Dangerous goods (lithium batteries outside compliant packaging, pyrotechnic inflators, propellants) fall under ADR and outside the taxi framework: tell us in advance and we will point you in the right direction.
Do you invoice companies?
Yes: compliant VAT invoice, bank transfer, account customer with monthly settlement for recurring clients (airlines, MRO, brokers). A purchase order or file reference can be shown on the invoice.
What if nobody can receive it on arrival?
The driver calls you before arriving. Depending on your instruction, they wait on site at the prefecture hourly rate, hand the goods to a person you designate, leave them at a secure reception or return with them. Nothing is ever left without your approval, and the return trip is only invoiced if it takes place.

What a taxi carries — and what it does not

We are a prefecture-licensed taxi service, not a freight company. Saying so plainly saves you a pointless call, and saves us accepting a job we could not honour.

✅ What we take

  • Documents, original deeds, data media
  • Parcels and cases that can be handled without lifting equipment
  • Flight cases, trunks, garment bags on hangers, jewellery boxes
  • Suitcases and luggage — up to six to eight pieces
  • Sealed insulated boxes supplied by the sender
  • Parts and cartons up to about 1.80 m long

❌ What belongs with a carrier

  • Full pallets and shrink-wrapped goods
  • Machines, engines, bulky furniture
  • Anything requiring a tail lift, pallet truck or forklift
  • Dangerous goods falling under ADR
  • House moves, even partial ones
  • Shipments requiring a goods transport licence

If your need falls outside this scope we tell you on the first call and point you to a suitable carrier. A taxi that costs you half a day is not doing you a favour.

An urgent delivery to arrange right now?
