Davy Crockett Ranch at a glance
The Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch is the most atypical hotel in the resort: a wooded area of approximately 57 hectares composed of independent bungalows (cottages), in a North American “chic camping” style. With almost 595 cottages Equipped with a kitchen, it is ideal for large families and long stays looking for peace and nature.
Facilities, restaurant and activities
The ranch offers a large indoor tropical swimming pool with slides (Indian Meadows), mini golf, bike rentals, ponies, forest trails and a playground. The restaurant Crockett's Tavern serves western cuisine, complete with a grocery store for cooking in its cottage.
Each bungalow has an equipped kitchen, a living room and a terrace — a truly self-contained accommodation, perfect for long stays with extended family. The atmosphere, peaceful and green, contrasts completely with the lively hotels near the lake.
Location and access — a key point
Unlike other Disney hotels, the Davy Crockett Ranch is located away from the complex, in the forest on the Bailly-Romainvilliers / Coupvray side, approximately 15 to 20 minute drive to parks. Crucial point: it is NOT served by the free Disney shuttles. Disney recommends getting there by car — or taxi. This is precisely the hotel where the taxi is most useful.
Taxi access and drop-off at the bungalow
The area is vast and the cottages are numbered by zone: finding your bungalow can be confusing on arrival. Our drivers know the map of the ranch and you drop off directly in front of your cottage (e.g. bungalow 412), avoiding dragging suitcases for hundreds of meters. To return to the parks, the airport or the train station, we will pick you up from the same place, at the agreed time.
Organize your trips during your stay
As there is no shuttle, plan your trips in advance. Many families book a daily round trip to the parks (morning and evening), shopping in Val d'Europe (the cottages have a kitchen), and of course airport transfers. We can agree on fixed times for the entire duration of the stay. Allow 40 to 50 minutes from CDG, the ranch being a little further than the lake hotels.
Why the taxi rather than the shuttle?
Since the Davy Crockett Ranch does not have a Disney shuttle, car-free options are limited. The taxi is the most practical solution for reaching the parks, doing shopping and providing airport (CDG, Orly, Beauvais) and train station transfers, with direct drop-off at the cottage.
