A wheelchair accessible taxi (TPMR in French) is a vehicle adapted to carry a passenger seated in their own wheelchair. You board via an access ramp, the chair is secured to the floor by four restraint straps, and the passenger keeps their own seat belt. No transfer onto a seat is needed, either getting in or getting out. We run this service from Serris, five minutes from Disneyland Paris, 24 hours a day, on the regulated taxi meter.

In practice this changes three things. Nobody has to lift the passenger, which is the single most common reason a family cancels an outing. The electric wheelchair — usually far too heavy and bulky for a saloon car boot — travels with its user instead of staying at the hotel. And the family rides in the same vehicle, so there is no second car to book.

The wheelchair, the ramp and the driver's assistance are not charged for. The approved zone B meter is what counts.

The vehicle

What is on board

Access ramp

Non-slip ramp deployed by the driver, gentle gradient, usable from the pavement or the road. Your family is not asked to lift anything.

🔗

4-point restraint system

Four straps lock the wheelchair to the floor, plus a seat belt for the passenger. This is the equipment required to travel seated in your own chair.

Electric wheelchairs welcome

Powered chairs and mobility scooters board via the ramp. Send us the weight and width when booking and we confirm within minutes.

👨‍👩‍👧

Up to 4 companions

The family travels in the same vehicle, with the luggage. The meter charges the journey, not the number of passengers.

🐕‍🦺

Guide dogs welcome

Your guide or assistance dog travels with you, free of charge and without a crate, as French law provides. Just tell us so the driver keeps the floor space.

🕐

Available 24/7

Night flights, leaving the park after the fireworks, a 6 am appointment: the service does not stop, public holidays included.

Booking

What we need to know

Five details are enough for everything to run smoothly on the day.

  • The type of wheelchair — folding manual, rigid manual, powered chair or mobility scooter.
  • Its approximate weight and width — a powered chair often exceeds 100 kg, and this is the one figure that can change anything.
  • How many companions and bags — so we set the seats up in advance.
  • The exact pick-up address — entrance number, floor, lift or steps.
  • The assistance you want — to the door, to the hotel entrance, to the check-in desk.

Please book 24 hours ahead where you can: the accessible vehicle is the only one of its kind in our fleet and cannot be improvised at the last minute. For anything urgent, call anyway — we check availability straight away.

The real difference is not the price, it is the certainty. A platform resells your ride to a local operator it does not name in front of you; we drive it ourselves, from Serris, and the amount on the meter is the one set by the prefecture. Frequently asked

What people ask us before booking

How much does a wheelchair accessible taxi to Disneyland Paris cost?
The fare is the regulated meter fare, exactly as for a standard ride: nothing is charged for the wheelchair, the ramp or the driver's help. As a guide: €30 from Val d'Europe or Chessy TGV station, €104 from Paris CDG, €135 from Orly, €110 from central Paris. Those amounts cover the whole vehicle, companions included.
Can I stay in my electric wheelchair during the journey?
Yes. The vehicle has an access ramp and a four-point restraint system, plus a seat belt for the passenger. You board in your chair and stay in it — no transfer onto a seat. Just tell us the weight and dimensions when booking: heavier powered chairs need a quick check.
How far in advance should I book?
Ideally 24 hours ahead. The accessible vehicle is the only one of its kind in the fleet, so unlike a saloon car it cannot be improvised. For an early flight or a group departure, book as soon as you know your times. At short notice, call anyway — we check availability immediately.
Can a companion travel in the same vehicle?
Yes, at no extra cost. The vehicle takes the wheelchair user plus up to four companions and their luggage. The meter charges the journey, not the number of passengers, so the family stays together and there is no second car to pay for.
Do you serve the Disney hotels and the parks?
Yes, door to door: Disneyland Hotel, Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge, Hotel Cheyenne, Hotel Santa Fe, Davy Crockett Ranch, Villages Nature Paris and every Val d'Europe hotel. We know each accessible entrance and park as close to it as possible.
Do you do airport transfers for wheelchair users?
Yes: Paris Charles de Gaulle, Orly, Beauvais and Le Bourget, both directions, 24/7. Flight tracking is included, so a delayed plane costs you nothing in waiting time. On arrival the driver meets you in the hall with a name board.
Is the journey covered by health insurance?
In France a journey is reimbursed when it is medically prescribed and carried out by an approved carrier. Tell us the context when you call and we will point you to the right solution. For a holiday or personal trip the question does not arise: it is an ordinary taxi ride.
Does the driver help with boarding?
Yes. He deploys the ramp, assists you up it, positions the chair, fastens the four straps and checks the belt before setting off, then does the reverse on arrival and walks you to the entrance. Allow 5 to 10 minutes at each end — it is built into the schedule.
Do you operate at night and on public holidays?
Yes, 24 hours a day, all year, public holidays included. Night (10 pm – 6 am), Sunday and holiday surcharges are those set by the Seine-et-Marne prefectoral order and apply exactly as for a standard ride.
Do your drivers speak English?
Yes. We look after passengers in English, French, Spanish, German and Italian, and you can book by WhatsApp in all five. It matters when a family lands from abroad with a relative in a wheelchair and does not know the area.
Can you carry a mobility scooter?
Yes, on the same terms as a powered wheelchair: it boards via the ramp and is secured. Send us the make, weight and width when booking. The widest models still fit, but we would rather check beforehand than on the pavement.
What if I travel with a guide or assistance dog?
Your dog travels with you, free of charge and without a crate — that is a right under French law. Mention it when booking so the driver keeps the floor space clear.
