Winter (January-March, excluding holidays) is one of the least busy periods of the year: shorter lines, often lower hotel rates. The atmosphere is cozy, especially around mountain-themed hotels like the Sequoia Lodge. Dress warmly and waterproof: outdoor attractions and queues are exposed to the cold.

What to plan for a winter stay

Check the calendar of technical closures (some attractions close for maintenance in low season) and reduced park hours. Shows and parades are maintained but may vary. Bring gloves, a hat and comfortable shoes — we walk a lot and sometimes wait outside.

Cold weather transfers

In the event of frost, snow or ice, the RER and the walk from the station can be unpleasant. A taxi from airport or train station to hotel saves you from waiting outside with the suitcases. Our drivers adapt their driving to winter conditions, and flight tracking ensures that you are expected even in the event of a weather delay.

Why visit Disneyland in winter?

Winter at Disneyland Paris (December-February) offers a totally different experience:

• December: 3-7°C (midnight -2°C possible)
• January: 1-6°C (harshest cold)
• February: 2-8°C

Equipment : warm down jacket or coat, hat, scarf, gloves, waterproof shoes, compact umbrella (frequent rain), thermal clothing for children. Bring several layers for outdoor shows at night (up to -5°C felt).

Winter transfers: watch out for ice

Roads may be icy in December-January. Our vehicles are equipped 4 season winter tires and chains for snowy days. The CDG-Disneyland journeys may take 15-20 minutes longer in the event of snow, but the indicative rate (taximeter) remains unchanged.
