Disneyland Paris 2026: the essentials

Disneyland Paris is two parks : Disneyland Park (castles, classic attractions, parades) and Walt Disney Studios (under transformation with World of Frozen and the Marvel universe). Add Disney Village (free), seven Disney hotels and numerous partners. Ideally plan 2 to 3 days to see everything without running.

Tickets, hotels and best time

Reserve your dated tickets in advance (prices vary depending on attendance). Stay in Disney hotel entitles you to Extra Magic Time and the shuttle. To avoid crowds, aim for periods outside of school holidays (see our season guide). Download the official app: maps, waiting times, show times and reservations.

Getting around during your stay

On site, free shuttles to Disney hotels, RER A to Paris, and taxi for everything else: airport transfers (CDG, Orly, Beauvais), unserved hotels (Davy Crockett, distant partners), excursions and late returns. Think about book your transfers at the same time as your stay, especially for early morning flights.

Disneyland Park (opened in 1992)

The main park with 5 thematic lands : Main Street USA (entrance), Adventureland (jungle, Pirates of the Caribbean, Robinson's Cabin), Frontierland (Wild West, Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor), Fantasyland (children's stories, It's a Small World, Peter Pan), Discoveryland (future, Star Wars, Space Mountain, Hyperspace Mountain). 49 attractions in total including 8 “roller coasters” or thrill rides.

Walt Disney Studios (opened in 2002)

The 2nd park, dedicated to cinema and animation. 4 zones : Toon Studio (cartoons), Production Courtyard (backstage), Backlot (stunts, special effects, Rock'n'Roller Coaster), Worlds of Pixar (Ratatouille, Cars Road Trip, Crush's Coaster). Major renovation in progress with the World of Frozen expansion planned for 2026-2027 and Avengers Campus already open since 2022.

Disneyland tickets vary depending on the period and number of parks:

• 1 day 1 park ticket : €62 to €119 depending on attendance (Mini-Mega-Super-Plus Magic)
• 1 day 2 parks ticket : +25 € (round trip between the two parks)
• 2 days 2 parks ticket : €170 to €245 (30% saving vs. 2 separate tickets)
• 3 days 2 parks ticket : €215 to €315
• 4 days 2 parks ticket : €240 to €365
• Children 3-11 years old : reduced rate approximately -15 €/day
• Less than 3 years old : free

Best Times to Visit Disneyland

Recommended periods (low crowds)

• January-early February (excluding holidays): park almost empty, promotions, cold but magical
• Early March before spring break
• Mid-September to mid-October (except weekends): pleasant, Halloween season unique decorations
• Early December (before holidays): Christmas decorations, few people

Periods to avoid (high crowds)

• French and European school holidays (February, April, summer, All Saints' Day, Christmas)
• May Bridge Weekends
• Christmas season December 20-31 (crowded park despite the magic)
• May Bridges (1st, 8th, Ascension)

Strategies to Maximize Your Day

First Pass and Single Rider

Premier Access (ex-FastPass) paying: €8-25/attraction/person depending on popularity. Allows you to move into priority lane. Useful for Crush's Coaster, Peter Pan's Flight, Ratatouille which have the longest lines (up to 90 min in high season).

Single Rider free but little signposted: separate line for single travelers, fills empty seats. Gain 50-70% on Crush's Coaster, RC Racer, Rock'n'Roller Coaster.

Extra Magic Time

For guests of official Disney hotels: access to Disneyland park 1 hour before public opening. Allows you to ride 3-5 attractions without the line, including Peter Pan, It's a Small World, Big Thunder Mountain. Major advantage to justify the additional Disney hotel cost.

Dining at Disneyland

More than 30 restaurants in the two parks, from quick snacks to gourmet:

• All-you-can-eat buffets : Plaza Gardens (Disneyland park), Agrabah Café (Adventureland)
• Table service : Blue Lagoon (Pirates of the Caribbean), Walt's (Main Street), Bistrot Chez Rémy (Ratatouille)
• Fast food : McDonald's (Disney Village), Earl of Sandwich, PYM Kitchen (Marvel burgers)
