Disneyland Paris Tips: how to avoid queues in 2026

Our advice for avoiding queues at Disneyland Paris. Premier Plan, Magic Pass, off-peak hours.

Premier Access: the Disneyland “fastpass”

The skip-the-line system has evolved: Disneyland Paris now offers Disney Premier Access (paid, at the attraction or as a day pass) to reduce waiting times at the main attractions (Big Thunder Mountain, Crush's Coaster, Avengers Assemble, etc.). The Standby Pass (free, depending on attendance) allocates a return slot on certain attractions. Everything is managed from the official Disneyland Paris application.

Tips for limiting queues

Arrive before opening (take advantage of Extra Magic Time if you're in a Disney hotel), hit the popular attractions first, eat lunch early or late to exploit off-peak hours, and save the quieter areas for the middle of the day. Download the app and enable geolocation to track live wait times.

Save time upon arrival

The queue sometimes starts… before the park: crowded RER, search for parking. Arriving early and rested makes the difference. A taxi that drops you off at the entrance at opening time puts you first on the attractions, without the stress of transportation. Particularly useful for aiming for Extra Magic Time.

Premier Access: the new paid system

Since 2022, the historic free FastPass has been replaced by the Paid First Access. Three formulas:

Premier Access One

Purchase individually, by attraction. Price varies depending on popularity and time (more expensive during peak hours):

• Popular attractions (Crush's Coaster, Peter Pan, Ratatouille): €8-25
• Average attractions (Big Thunder, Space Mountain): €5-15
• Purchase via the Disneyland Paris app, at the earliest when the park opens

Premier Access Ultimate

Day pass including 15 attractions with priority access. Price: €90-150/person depending on date. Economical if you plan 6+ Premier Access One otherwise.

Premium Experience

VIP tour with Disney guide, backstage access, top priority, meal at the Royal Banquet. Price: 800-1500 € for 4 people. Exceptional experience.

Single Rider: the secret to reducing the wait

The Single Rider is a little known free service : a line dedicated to single travelers, which fills empty seats at attractions. Massive time saving (50-70%).

Attractions with Single Rider

• Crush's Coaster : most requested attraction, Single Rider reduces from 90 min to 20 min
• RC Racer
• Rock'n'Roller Coaster with Aerosmith
• Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril

Disadvantage: you do not necessarily go up with your companions (placement by the staff). But the attraction lasts 2-3 minutes, you meet them at the exit.

Extra Magic Time for Disney hotel guests

The customers of official Disney hotels have access to Disneyland park 1 hour before public opening. Huge advantage:

• Popular Skip-the-Line Attractions: Peter Pan, Big Thunder, Star Tours, It's a Small World
• Photos without crowds in front of the castle
• First meal leisurely breakfast
• Unique atmosphere of the awakening park

Use intelligently: go to bed early the night before, arrive at the entrance at 7:30 a.m. (1 hour before opening at 8:30 a.m.).

Optimal Disneyland day strategy

First hour (8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. public / 7:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. Disney hotel)

Head to the most popular attractions without Premier Access. Priority order:

1. Peter Pan's Flight (queue goes up fast)
2. Big Thunder Mountain
3. Phantom Manor
4. It's a Small World
5. Space Mountain / Hyperspace Mountain

Midday (11 a.m.-3 p.m.)

Lunch break 12 p.m.-2 p.m. (peak traffic = queue ~90 min). Use this time to:

• Reserved restaurant lunch
• Meet & Greet characters (Mickey, princesses)
• Shows and parades
• Shopping Main Street
• Premier Access purchase for the afternoon

End of day (4 p.m.-closing)

A look back at the attractions with Premier Access. Last hour before closing: lines shorten, opportunity to redo favorites.
